January Collective Stuff

Time flies so fast, dessho? It's almost the end of January, then it's gonna the love month! But before it ends, I made sure to purchase the items I need (and want, tee-hee!)

Blue nylon shower puff - I use this with my Silka Papaya Whitening Body Wash
Kolours Dual Conditioning Hair Color in Blue Black - Got inspired by Miss Louise's hair color, although I've been wanting to do this for a long time now... So excited!
Eye-Mo - I use this before putting on my lenses and after removing them
Monea Curl Defining Milk - This is gonna be my third bottle already. I love my digipermed curls and this product definitely helps!

Maybelline Baby Lips - I'm curious about this lip balm
Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto Mascara - Wanna take a break from my Majo Majo addiction. And I've been seeing a lot of raves for this so, why not? Tee-hee...

NYX Round Lipstick in Eros - 'Cause I wanna try a super red lip look. Let's say, getting a bit more adventurous...
NYX Round Lipstick in Tea Rose - I love the natural color on my lips

AV Remote Control Holder - But I'm gonna be using this for my makeup items
Black lacquer tray - Matching design with my bowls
Instant miso soup - I love this soup! Tastes just like the one from Tokyo Tokyo, heheh...
Blue bedroom slippers - So comfy! Also comes with a sleeping mask, which I don't really need, but still cute...

I'll be doing separate posts for the makeup items, especially Kolours!

But for now... Ja ne!

New Digicam + New Circle Lenses = LOVE!~

These came in more than a week ago, but I'm still so happy and giddy like a kid!

One of the items in my wishlist came true upon the arrival of Sakura-chan, my Canon A3300 IS! All thanks to my superfriend Erika-neechan, weeee! We still can't afford a new SLR now but after reading reviews and seeing the specs and sample photos of this one, I was definitely sold. I originally wanted it in black but unfortunately (or is it?), this is the remaining stock. And it's in pink! I'm starting to love it!All the photos in this post are from this camera... LOVE!

Super duper metallic pink power! LOLZ!

Also got a new pair of Princess Mimi lenses from JapaneseCandy, this time in Chocolate. I didn't do a separate review because it's pretty much the same as my Sesame Gray in terms of design, comfort, and enlargement. It's just that I love this color more!

The pattern. Sorry if my eye scared you, heheh...

Thank you Lord... There's a lot more to come!

Ja ne!

Rina-chan's Thoughts On: Etude House AC Clinic Gel Lotion

You already know how important it is to keep your skin moisturized, right? No matter what type of skin you have, there is no excuse not to grab that bottle or tub of moisturizer, as long as you have what works for you. Back then, I was not a fan of moisturizers mainly because my face is always an oil mine! And every time I try to use one (particularly Nivea in the blue tin can), I hate that greasy, sticky feeling... Until I got a hold of this baby!

Formulated with Salicylic Acid and Hinoki Cypress extract, AC Clinic Gel Lotion clarifies and soothes troubled skin while maintain oil/moisture balance without aggravation.

Price: Php498 for 150mL (but I got this as a gift from my monito last Christmas, heheh...)

All in Korean, I don't understand a thing. Heehee...

Oh, hello English! XD

Sealed for protection. Me likey!

I've been using this for a month now and here's my two cents worth...

I like...
...how it keeps my skin soft and supple, without making me look like a greaseball!
...how it keeps my face moisturized even when I'm in an air-conditioned environment.
     ...no breakouts!
...the product's lotion-like consistency. Easy to apply and gets absorbed by my skin fast.
     ...the drip stopper. No mess!
...the amount of product for the price. I've been using this two times a day for a month now and I've just used up less than 1/4 of the bottle!

I'm not sure about...
...the glass bottle. It's pretty and all, but I'm always afraid I might drop it!
...the scent. I mean, I don't hate it, but they could have made it smell nicer.

There you have it, and as you can see, nothing I hate! I can say that Etude House products work for me, and I love it!

I'm eyeing their Wonder Pore Freshner...

Ja ne!

Rock Sunday: Use Somebody by Kings of Leon

Normally, I'd have a J-Rock or J-Pop song in my Sunday posts, like here. But notice the omission of "J-"? Because today I have a song by the American alternative rock band, Kings of Leon!

photo via Google

Use Somebody is the second track from their 2008 album Only by the Night. I don't really remember when or where I first heard this song but I was like "Whoah!" -- great music, great lyrics, great vocals... Needless to say, at that moment, Kings of Leon became my favorite band! They're also one of my inspirations in picking up and playing bass.

This is one of the first songs I learned to play, and I really felt so excited when I was told we're gonna cover it for the Christmas party! Hmm... Maybe I'm gonna post our video here, but only once I get the good copy from my bandmate.

Okay, here are the video and lyrics for the song.

Kings of Leon

I've been roaming around, always looking down at all I see
Painted faces fill the places I can't reach
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody

Someone like you and all you know and how you speak
Countless lovers under cover of the street
You know that I could use somebody
You know that I could use somebody

Someone like you

Off in the night while you live it up I'm off to sleep
Waging wars to shape the poet and the beat
I hope it's gonna make you notice
I hope it's gonna make you notice

Someone like me
Someone like me
Someone like me, somebody

I'm ready now, I'm ready now
I'm ready now, I'm ready now
I'm ready now, I'm ready now
I'm ready now

Someone like you, somebody
Someone like you, somebody
Someone like you, somebody

I've been roaming around, always looking down at all I see
