30-Day Song Challenge: Day 28-30

Day 28: A song that makes you feel guilty.

"Home" by Daughtry.

This song makes me think about my family. I know that in some degree, I've neglected them. I haven't spent much time with my family ever since I started working and living in Manila. Honestly, sometimes I don't even know what's going on, but I try to make up to them by calling or texting them once in a while. And every time I am able to go home, I make the most out of those days -- eating, chatting, laughing (sometimes crying) like there's no tomorrow. I really miss them...

Day 29: A song from your childhood.

Tetsuwan Atom / Astroboy opening theme.

One of the earliest childhood songs from my memory. I believe this is the first anime I've ever seen (the 1980 version). I even remember "cosplaying" Astro as a child, running around in socks and kiddie underwear, and fixing my hair. Hahahaa! Natsukashii na...

Day 30: Your favorite song at this time last year.

"Sex on Fire" by Kings of Leon.

I've actually got a lot of favorite songs -- and once they make it to my list, they will always remain my favorite. This is one of them, along with Use Somebody, when I first discovered KoL.

And with that, my 30-day song challenge comes to a close. Yatta! Hmm... I wonder what's next?

Ja ne!
